Franciscan Youth India is a youth movement inspired by the life and spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi and connected with the Order of Secular Franciscans (OFS).
We accompany young people as they discover the joy of following Christ and learn to live the Gospel in the spirit of St. Francis—with simplicity, fraternity, peace, compassion, service, and love for creation.
Through prayer, formation, fellowship, service, and mission, we encourage young people to become active witnesses of the Gospel in their families, parishes, communities, and society.

Who We Are
Franciscan Youth India is a community of young people who seek to follow Jesus Christ by embracing the spirit and example of St. Francis of Assisi.
As part of the Franciscan family and connected with the Order of Secular Franciscans (OFS), we seek to make Franciscan spirituality meaningful and relevant to the life of today’s youth.
Our journey is centred on the Gospel and inspired by the way of life of St. Francis—a life marked by faith, simplicity, humility, fraternity, peace, service, and care for creation.
We believe that young people are not merely the future of the Church and society; they are an important part of the Church’s mission today. Franciscan Youth India therefore seeks to create spaces where young people can encounter Christ, develop their gifts, build meaningful friendships, deepen their faith, and respond generously to the needs of others.
Through prayer and spiritual formation, youth gatherings, retreats, leadership formation, social outreach, service initiatives, cultural activities, environmental awareness, and Franciscan fraternity, we encourage young people to transform their faith into action.
Our desire is to form young Franciscan disciples who carry the joy of the Gospel wherever they go.
Our Journey
We walk together as a fraternity, learning from one another and growing in faith. Inspired by the words and life of St. Francis, we seek to encounter God in prayer, recognize Christ in every person, serve those in need, work for peace and reconciliation, and care for our common home.
To be Franciscan is not simply to admire St. Francis. It is to walk in his footsteps and allow the Gospel to shape our lives.
YouFra India is a youth-driven charitable movement dedicated to empowering young people through faith, fellowship, leadership, and community service. Rooted in Franciscan values, we strive to inspire compassion, unity, and social responsibility among the youth of India.
Through spiritual formation programs, humanitarian initiatives, youth gatherings, and outreach activities, we create opportunities for young individuals to grow into confident leaders who serve society with love and purpose. Our mission is to build a generation that values peace, humanity, and service while creating a positive impact in communities across the nation.
We nurture young minds through leadership , personality development, and community engagement initiatives that inspire confidence, responsibility, and positive social impact.
